2. Hosting and technical delivery
This website is served through Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, data including your IP address, requested URL, date and time, and technical browser and connection information is processed to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in reliable and secure operation.
Cloudflare also processes data outside the EU. Its data processing terms describe international transfers, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for processing and retention details. Retention of technical data depends on operational and security purposes and the Cloudflare services used; no single retention period is guaranteed here.
3. No analytics or tracking
We do not embed analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Images, scripts and stylesheets are served through this website. We use system fonts without contacting an external font service. The website itself does not set cookies. Technical processing by the hosting provider is separate.
4. Your appearance preference
When you select light or dark mode, only that preference is saved as vorum-theme in your browser’s Local Storage. It is not sent to us, is used only for your chosen appearance, and remains until you clear site data or change your selection. Without a selection, we use your system preference. Storage supports the function you explicitly requested (Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG).
5. Email enquiries
If you email us, we process your email address and message to respond to your enquiry. The basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual enquiries. Data is deleted once the enquiry is resolved unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require continued storage.
6. External links
Links include GitHub and forum.vorum.de. A connection to a linked website is made when you open its link. That website’s own privacy notice then applies.
7. Your rights
Subject to legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). Please contact the controller above.
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, including the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
